Monday

On Monday Ben will have some blood work done at the hospital in preparation for the surgery. Thankfully for me, Ben has never been afraid of needles. He is a brave guy. Also, on Monday we'll find out what time the surgery will be on Tuesday. The hospital told us that they schedule surgeries from the youngest child to the oldest, so I'm guessing we'll be later rather than earlier.

Monday will also be Ben's last day at school for 4-6 weeks. He will have attended 4 whole days of jr. high. Wow! Just think of all the money we'll save on school lunches!

  2. Hey I found the blog! Love the survey. All good choices but I had to go for the milk duds. I'm suddenly craving them :)

  3. If I were you, I'd want to be under anesthesia, too, while Ben was getting the surgery done. I'd be such a bundle of nerves.
We are praying for Ben and for your whole family to feel peace at this time.
At least you can rest assured that the rest of your kids will not be fruit deprived while you're at the hospital.
Tell Ben I'm proud of him for not being afraid of needles, too.

  4. I have a friend that says she spends more money in the summer on lunches then during the school year...so when he makes it home you will have to make him only eat a school lunch type food diet to keep costs down. We've been praying for him (and you)...and like I said, at least Noah has the right triplet we are praying for this time. Although Henry might have appreciated his prayers last time too.

    good luck today.
